Basically, we wanted to blend in. Whether on les Champs d'Elysees or tackling the rugged terrain of the Mongolian steppe, we wanted to feel at home and not arouse the suspicions (or jealousy) of the locals.

How best to do this? Hide in plain sight my friends, hide in plain sight. No one would suspect the pale red head with a silly accent who believe in dragons, the yank with a black eye and full on polyster suit, and bearded kiwi programmer who is bumping the ghost buster theme song of being tourists. Certainly not in our baby, tentatively named Scuba Steve.

Camo paint job, snorkel, lift, and tires bigger than your balls all aid in our little deception. Don't mind us Tajikis, Czechs, or Mongolians- we're just a couple locals, passing through!
